Own a bit of heritage, the last pieces of Dutch Vintage linen, in its' entirety.
This is very very vintage linen of over 200 years old! How do we know? Because the measurements are still written on labels in 'el' which was no longer used legally after 1820. From this, we now know that this fabric is from before that period. One 'el' could be anything between 58 and 69cm.
These rolls are rolled up in the traditional heritage way of 'dookrollen'. It is linen that was homegrown, homespun, and handwoven as part of a dowry. The way these rolls are folded and rolled is knowledge of forgotten times, and only a handful of ladies still know how to do it today.
  Since each roll is slightly different I have numbered them and put them up separately. I have estimated the length according to weight, one meter (a bit over a yard) of this fabric is 200 grams.
