This silk is produced in China by a producer who has their own farm to grow high quality mulberry trees. Rearing the silkworms, spinning and weaving silk fabric are all done in one continuous production line.
This fabric is OEKO-TEX 100 Certified and GRS certified; The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. It also sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
IS0-9001 Certified.
The factory holds certification by TUV Rheinland, one of the strictest safety and quality certifiers who hold in person check periodically on site.

I can't say enough good things about this company and it's owner. I live in the states but will only buy dyes and such from Dekel Dyes.. I know where they are sourced and the quality is first rate. The fabrics are also yummy and quality is high.
