Myrbalan Powder is a tannic extract prepared from the nuts of Terminalia Chebula.
This is a commonly used dye throughout India and grows primarily in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Myrobalan overdyed with indigo gives you wonderful teal color.
2% WOF for light shades and basic mordanting
10% WOF for medium depth of shade rich yellow
13% WOF for darker browns.
In combination with iron, myrobalan will give grey to black.
Active ingredients: Gallic and ellagic acid derived hydrolysable tannins.
