Use for clothing, mufflers, pillows, and more. Matka silk has a lot of sericin which will take up dye like a charm. Pieces dyed on Matka always look very saturated with color.
There is no need to scour this fabric, but I advise on soaking overnight in a bucket with bran to remove the rice starch they use to press the fabric.
